Travis Louie’s latest exhibit The Ghost of Delilah and Other Stories is an eclectic mix of collaborative works featuring contributions from Lola, Dave Chung, Greg “Craola” Simkins, Molly Crabapple and Chet Zar (just to name a few). Known for his photo-realistic depictions of other worldly monsters, Travis’ latest body of work is a playful departure from his signature portraits. Based upon the artist’s personal dreams, from Philip Seymour Hoffman as a bulldog to swimming with mermaids, each piece interacts with some of the best creative minds in contemporary art.
If you were unable to attend the opening, enjoy the pics below. Travis’ exhibit runs until December 24th, so be sure to check it out at Gallery 1988 if you’re in the neighborhood. For more info about Travis Louie and his artwork, visit TravisLouie.com.
